I am a big fan of professional networking and would consider myself a natural networker. It allows me the opportunity to find out more about what is happening in my profession and meet others with similar backgrounds and experiences. I’ve made a ton of very powerful connections and landed my first professional IT project management job just by attending a PMI meetings. I want to share some of my tips and tricks on how to successfully network. How to meet the right people, how to find the right events to network at, how to stand out in a crowd for all the right reasons, etc. Networking is a learned skill that takes practice and upkeep. So, let’s all spend a little time perfecting our networking skill set.
